Maldives Immigration Deports Four Expatriates Involved in Large-Scale Prostitution Ring

Maldives Immigration has deported four expatriates involved in operating a large-scale prostitution ring following a joint operation with Maldives Police Service on August 11th.

Acting on an intelligence report, authorities detained three women, aged 36, 38, and 41, and one man, aged 35. All four were subsequently deported and barred from re-entering the Maldives.

The prostitution activities were reportedly being conducted through beauty salons and registered spas, which served as fronts for the illegal operations.

This deportation is part of an ongoing crackdown by Maldives Immigration and law enforcement agencies against illegal expatriates and foreigners conducting unlawful business activities. Earlier this month, two other foreigners, popular on social media, were also deported for operating beauty salons illegally.
