President Muizzu Travels to Singapore for Medical Check-Up

The President's Office confirmed the trip and addressed rumors circulating on social media about his health. Prior to his departure, President Muizzu clarified that he had recently visited Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital after sustaining a minor injury while playing football in Aarah.

Social media rumors had speculated that the President suffered a head injury from a fall in a bathroom and was experiencing severe migraines. However, President Muizzu dismissed these claims, stating that he sustained a minor injury during a football match and is traveling to Singapore for a second opinion and a routine check-up.

The President is expected to return to the Maldives in two days.
