Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer Concludes Diplomatic Visit to Saudi Arabia

Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer has successfully wrapped up his official visit to Saudi Arabia, aimed at enhancing the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.

According to the Maldivian Foreign Ministry, the visit underscored the importance of the long-standing ties between the two nations.

During his visit, Minister Zameer met with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud. In this meeting, he delivered a letter from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The discussions between the two ministers focused on deepening the already strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia. They also explored opportunities for further multilateral collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

In addition to this key meeting, Minister Zameer engaged with other senior Saudi government officials and representatives from the Saudi Fund for Development. He also took the opportunity to meet with members of the Maldivian community in Riyadh, inquiring about their well-being.

Minister Zameer was accompanied by a delegation that included Maldives Monetary Authority Governor Ahmed Munawar, Ambassador-at-Large Ahmed Naseer, Maldives Airports Company Limited Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, Joint Secretary Badoora Saeed, and Director General Aishath Fareena.
