BML Digital Banking Apps Down Again, Customers Frustrated
In a social media post, BML acknowledged the problem, stating, "Due to a technical issue, we're facing interruptions to our Mobile App and Internet Banking." The bank first announced the issue at 7:51 AM on Wednesday, though customers reported that the apps had been down since dawn.
BML assured its customers that it is working to resolve the issue "as soon as possible" and apologized for the inconvenience.
This outage marks the second disruption in one week. On August 1st, BML's mobile banking application experienced a similar interruption due to a human error during payment processing, which mistakenly credited large sums of money to some accounts.
Despite the bank's apology, many customers have expressed growing frustration and concern over the increasing frequency of these interruptions.
