MMC Orders Blocking of "Dhenme" for Unethical Journalism

In a statement, the council detailed the website's consistent spread of misinformation, use of lewd language, slander, and character assassination against individuals and entities. The MMC noted that despite receiving multiple complaints and issuing warnings, "Dhenme" continued its inappropriate conduct.

As a result, the MMC's review committee recommended that relevant authorities block the website. This action follows the Media Council's previous call in 2013 for media outlets to uphold professional standards and avoid unprofessional conduct.
