Shah Rukh Khan to Commence Shooting for Next Film in June
In an interview with Star Sports, Shah Rukh Khan shared, "I just felt I can rest a little. I have done two to three films, and there was a lot of physical work in all of them. So I said maybe I will take some time off and I told the whole team 'I'll come to watch matches.'"
He added, "Fortunately, my shooting is scheduled for August or July. We planned it for June, so it may start in June. So I am absolutely free until then. So I would like to attend all the home matches because I love coming here (Eden Gardens)."
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is set to collaborate with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time in the action-packed film "The King," slated for release in 2025.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had discussed his preference for film roles. In an interview, he stated, "I am attempting now to do a film that is more age-real to me and play it as the protagonist and as the star of the film. I think one of the few things in Indian films we missed out on is people can play the age and still be the star... It does get a little tiring trying to bring in that kind of charm that existed 20 years ago. I think I may have a new charm that is more age-centric. I'd like to do another action film."
