Aasandha Extends Free Medical Checkups to Individuals Aged 35 and Above

In addition to this expansion, Aasandha introduced improvements to the medical checkup package, addressing challenges encountered during its initial rollout on January 1st, 2024.

The updated packages now include tests essential for early cancer diagnosis, categorized into two age groups: 30 years and above, and 40 years and above. Furthermore, Aasandha said special school screenings, for children aged 18 and below has also been introduced.

Under the cancer screening package, all non-time-sensitive tests are covered under the free medical checkup once per year. Time-sensitive tests may be included in the free checkup upon the doctor's recommendation, according to Aasandha.
