President Muizzu Announces Salary Increases Across Sectors

Responding to a query from Ali Shafiu of Fuvahmulah City regarding discrepancies in pay raises between the police and other sectors, President Muizzu assured that salary hikes would be extended to all sectors as the economy strengthens.

Acknowledging recent salary increments in the defense sector, President Muizzu reiterated the government's commitment to expanding these benefits across all segments of the workforce.

"I have pledged that as the economy improves, salaries will be increased in all sectors of the country. Currently, salary increases have been implemented in some sectors including the police and military, and God willing, this will be extended to other areas as well," affirmed the president.
